My name is Catherine though most people know me as Cat or Cat MacK. I'm  a theatre artist and independent researcher (focus on cultural policy and planning) based in Nova Scotia.

I've worked in theatres throughout the East Coast in the roles of Stage Manager, Producer, Technician, Actor, Choreographer and Arts Administrator. I'm also the Artistic Producer of Open Concept Productions.

Outside of the theatre, I'm an independent researcher, focusing on topics under culture, diversity, gender and immigration. Currently I'm exploring the relationship between theatre and the community as it can be used in public policy.
